Looking back we should of kept him for sure, I was glad to get Brent at the start, but at least Keenen got us to the playoffs and if we were not injured as fuck, we likely would of won the division and who knows what could of happened.

 he did wonders in washington too. oh well, what can ya do.

as long as feaster stays as gm i'm pretty happy. even though we didn't make playoffs this year, he gave the team a solid chance at making it. The cupboards went from bare to not so bare. He's done a great job thus far.

 i'm pretty sure his contract as of right now...if he misses playoffs this upcoming year...he's gone. which is completely fair in my books, but it should happen.

 So your goal for this team would be to try and make the playoffs again next year? Holy fuck. Is it not clear what this team has to do. R-E-B-U-I-L-D.

Keep trying to make the playoffs riding Kipper and Iginla... that plan has really been working well.

Clearly, the formula hasn't been working. You have to get younger and change the team's philosophy.

 its not like iggy or kipper are showing any signs of getting worse. we don't need to rebuild when we have promising prospects coming up. our cupboards are not bare.

i mean christ iggy's only 34 and kipper is only 35. they are no where near the oldest guys in the league, everyone treats them like they're 40

 There is one guy on HF that said we should have players under 25...LOL. I didn't realize 25 was the limit on who is old/young in the NHL.

Chris, a lot of contracts go off this off season, which will change how this team looks. Feaster in one off season dropped the average age of this team by about a year, which doesn't sound like much, but when you factor in averages with Iginla, Kipper, Jokinen, Tanguay vs Horak, Brodie, Bouma, Butler (with some time for Irving, Byron, Nemisz, Baertschi), it averages out. Feaster in one off season has done what everybody has been saying we need to do - get younger. This is his opportunity to really do that now, while maintaining the current core. I don't think we'll make the playoffs next season (unless we manage to pull some magic like the Sens did this season), but I don't see us being in another long drought like the Leafs, either.

 Moss is great when he's healthy. He just gets injured too much.

Doubt he gets re-signed though, wouldnt suprise me to see him sign a cheap deal with Detroit.
