ANYWAYS JENNY, on my last visit to canada i bought a toni & guy curling iron from shoppers. it was like $30. its an inch wide and i think the smaller ones were cheaper. it gets really hot and does great curls. you'd probably want a 3/4 one with your new shorter hair

do you guys know of any good clampless curlers that arent hella expensive? i was watching a youtube tutorial and this girl used one that appeared to work well and she said it was 20 dolla at target! i want a fairly thin one because im cutting my hair just below my shoulders and want to curl it still

I'll need to take a look at mine when I get home, buuut I think I have a bedhead one that is semi-clampless-- it has just a little nub of a clip at the bottom, it probably would have been like $30-50ish MAYBE. It's pretty decent quality, heats up really quickly and stays hot consistently (which is awesome, my hair is stubborn and doesn't hold curls or stay straight unless I almost burn it with a heat tool). It has a 1" maybe a 1.25" barrel and I really like it. I've used the nubby clamp and I've also used it without.

Yeah I don't either... Ali and Steven personally insult people, their boyfriends, make fun of people and are generally mean, but it's the fault of everyone else in the forum who creates drama.

Don't they have their own beauty forum to get back to?

Really? You're insulting people because they have naturally red hair?

I agree with the bed head curling irons, they work really well and are only like $30 at london drugs

I wonder what it would be like to be one of them. Do people like them think about stuff that matters?

I have a question...

Right now my hair is dark black with purple streaks (It was professionally done, and they were bleached). It's faded in most spots but it's still kinda bright in some places.

I may have a job interview soon and I want to dye over it, but I dont have the money to do it professionally. Will just dying over it get rid of the purple? Or should I do something special?

How long ago did you have your hair done like that?

I think that you'd probably have the best luck going over it with a dark brown rather than a black-- I've had hair quite similar to yours colour-wise before and found that I had to dye it a couple times with brown dye as a filler before black would stick to the purple without fading to grey.

I think you should be okay if you dye over it with brown :) You'll still get faster fading where it was bleached and will turn blonde eventually, so maybe dye over it a day or two before your interview if you're concerned about that.

I made the mistake of dying over bleached hair that had been dyed hot pink with black dye when I was in grade 12 and my hair turned grey :iik:
