User must be in the picture

• The picture must have the user in it. If it does not have the user in it, then the picture is unacceptable.
• A picture must display a recognizable portion of the user. Recognizable is defined as a clear portion of the user’s face and/or a sizable portion of the torso.
• The sex of the person must match the sex that the profile indicates.
• Your profile pictures may be long distance, sports, or costumed pictures as long as you are still distinguishable by the shoulders to hips rule.
• Photo editing is allowed to some extent.
• Pictures of celebrities are unacceptable.

Writing and personal information

• You may not have your address, telephone number or other identifying numbers on your picture.
• You may not use an actual ID card as a picture.
• You may write on pictures as long as the writing does not break other rules.
• No tags from other sites.

Nudity and suggestive content

• Full frontal nudity, exposed butt or butt crack, genitals or pubic region, or censoring these with any object other than clothing.
• Any see-through clothing, inappropriate bathing suits, or any improperly covering clothing is not allowed.
• Suggestive material can be defined as a picture in which it is obvious a user is seriously trying to imitate or partake in a sexual act within the picture, such as implying penetration or masturbation, as well as any excessive groping or fondling.
• Realistic cartoons or drawings of the above pictures will be considered nudity and treated as such.
• If you couldn’t do it at a public beach, you can’t post pictures of it here.

Graphic or violent content

• Bodily Fluids or Organs: None must be visible. Since we can’t determine fake blood from real and it is constantly argued, none will be allowed.
• Any depiction of a violent act is unacceptable.
• All weapons are unacceptable except: clearly fake guns, water guns (the bright colored ones), paintball guns (as long as they’re clearly paintball), or weapons being used in a professional context (soldiers, Karate uniform, police).

Drugs

• Alcohol, cigarettes and cigars are acceptable.
• Marijuana is not acceptable.
• Hard drugs (cocaine, ecstasy, acid, mushrooms, heroin, etc) are not acceptable.

Discrimination and Harassment

• Racial or stereotypical slurs in pictures or captions are unacceptable.
• Harassment and bullying are unacceptable in picture and captions.

GALLERY PICTURES HAVE THE SAME RULES AS PROFILE PICTURES EXCEPT THE USER DOESN’T NEED TO BE IN THE PICTURE. YOU MAY UPLOAD PICTURES OF OTHER PEOPLE OR OBJECTS TO YOUR GALLERY, BUT IT CANNOT BREAK ANY OF THE OTHER RULES.

If your picture was deleted more than once please do not attempt to upload it again. Contact an Administrator, or create a thread in the Support Forum for further assistance.

Nexopia has a Faker Forum to deal with users who steal pictures from others.

Before you report a fake picture, you must have proof to back up your claims. Just "looking fake" is not a reason to report a photo.

When you've collected valid evidence (evidence that Administrators and Faker Forum Mods can see, like sign pictures and urls to other websites. Real life situations or private messages are not considered valid evidence) and you've read the guidelines in the Faker Forum, create a thread and the situation will be taken care of.

If someone is using what you recognize as celebrity pictures, please report abuse on the user's account, with proof included. If you do not include proof in your report and we do not recognize the celebrity, we will discard your report.

Verified Users on Nexopia are people who have uploaded a picture with "username@nexopia" on a piece of paper.

People use this to prove that they are actually the user behind the account. This helps prevent fakers.

The Picture below is an example of a valid Sign Picture:

It meets the following criteria:

• It shows your whole face
• It shows your exact Username and Nexopia handwritten on a piece of paper or object
• It does not appear to be computer edited

Once you become Verified, the words "Verified User" will appear at the top left of your Profile.

People will be able to look at your Sign Picture and be sure that the owner of the Profile is actually the person in their Pictures.

When you upload an approved Sign Picture, it will not count toward your Picture total. A non-Plus member will still be allowed to upload 8 regular Pictures, and a Plus member will be allowed 12 regular Pictures.

The picture will be moderated twice. The first time, it will be moderated as a regular Profile Picture. If it is approved to go into your Profile, it will be moderated again to make sure it is a valid Sign Picture. This process will likely take more than a few minutes so please be patient.
