Just as music videos have risen from mere amateur marketing gimmicks to a class of high art all their own, so too have album covers become indispensable tools with the potential to make or break bands and the designers behind them. We have seen some great examples of this in the past; in fact you just have to march down to your nearest Chapters to find any number of art books on the subject. But what about those truly unsung heroes of the album art trade? Those DIY'ers who said "screw hiring a designer," or the designers who said "screw what the artist wants?" Why, if it weren't for these pioneers of bad taste, then we here at Nexopia wouldn't be able to offer you this glimpse into the museum of bad album covers. And that would be a worse offense then the covers themselves...well, maybe not.
