Six prep school girls from Osaka get together, start a ska band, and take the music world by storm. No, Oreskaband aren't the thin plot-line of some half baked Japanese rom-com (though considering they hail from that Mecca of marketing, you'd certainly be forgiven for thinking so) but an honest to goodness band that just happens to be made up of the cutest dimples and grins this side of a Manga comic strip. Formed back in 2003, when the girls were just in grade eight, Oreskaband paid their dues playing in Osaka's many underground clubs before signing to Sony in 2006. More recently, the girls have been rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in punk, touring throughout the United States with the Vans Warped Tour.

So slouch, pick up your "Knife and Fork," and for god's sake eat with your mouth open!
