There have been rumors floating around for a while now that Apple was going to introduce the new iPod and iPod nano today at the "The Beat Goes On" special event and as usual they did not disappoint. The entire iPod lineup was refreshed, the shuffle now comes in new colours including (product) red. The nanos were completely redesigned and now support video, and a bigger, brighter, higher rez display. They have a new interface and you can now browse albums using cover flow. The new iPods, now called iPod classic have the same user interface as the nano and new storage capacities, 80GB and 160GB. Best of all though is the new iPod touch! Supporting the same 3.5 in multitouch display as the iPhone, Wifi for web browsing and YouTube, it can do pretty much everything the iPhone can do except the camera and phone features.
