CULTURE VULTURE: Daft Punk's "Electroma"

Somehow, between putting on the most mind-blowing LED-laden dance parties in the history of the world and releasing 3 groundbreaking albums, the two cyber-men of Daft Punk found time to make a little movie called Electroma. And not just any movie either; this is an epic sci-fi masterpiece that has already, in its short lifespan, become a staple of underground movie houses all over Europe.

Well now, thanks to a team-up of supergroup proportions between Nexopia, our friends at Vice, and Landmark Cinemas, the film that's been called everything from a cross between "2001 and David Lynch," to "music for the eyes," to just plain "pretentious," is finally making the rounds in theatres across Canada and the US. In fact, you keen eyed Nexopians out there probably noticed a little contest we're running where you can win free tickets to a showing as well a bunch of cool swag. It's a crazy rare opportunity to see a soon to be cult classic that has, until now, been all but unavailable to North American eyes; so sign up, submit, and see the film that's got everybody talking.
