Over the course of three albums, Metric have become Canada's hottest indie hit makers and one of the country's most exciting rock n' roll exports. Their first major release, Old World Underground, Where Are You Now featured a unique blend of new wave chic and classic punk rock swagger. Tracks like "Dead Disco" and "Combat Baby" were instant dance floor faves. Live It Out followed in 2005 and the first single "Monster Hospital" marked a turn to a less artsy, more edgy sound.
