The first band in the Nex Showcase is Rising 4, a Saskatoon based rock band influenced by everything from Kiss to Avenged Sevenfold, Johnny Cash to The Used.

Just two years after forming, their debut full-length album was released on June 6th 2008. The album is very diverse with something to offer almost anyone. The hit track "Oxygen" produced great success for Rising 4 as the music video made it all the way to MuchMusic and was played daily on MuchLoud. The group consists of Brandon, Chris, Nick, and Alex all in their teens. In their short career they have proved to be something to look for in the very near future! Keep an eye out for Rising 4!
