As usual Bono and U2 have released yet another highly anticipated album. From the tid bits I was hearing on the radio, music channels, and music award shows, I found myself looking forward to it. After their last album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, I found myself somewhat, disappointed. I had hope that No Line on the Horizon would make up for a poor predecesor. That just doesn't seem to be the case.

The latest album from U2 left an awkward taste in my mouth with their attempts at a 'punkier' sound and unoriginal sounding tracks. Now don't get me wrong, there are some catchy tracks, "Stand Up Comedy", "Get on Your Boots"(the track that drew me to the album), "Magnificent" and the title track "No Line On The Horizon" are all decent, but not spectacular. These tracks are nothing to get excited about.

Overall, I was disappointed with Bono's work, even his vocals began to get annoying by the end of this album. If you're looking to check out the album, go to iTunes and buy the couple tracks I listed first. And listen for yourself.
