These days, it's becoming harder and harder to find a song with lyrics that tell a story. The Fray has multiple songs on their new album titled The Fray that tell stories, and although they are somewhat repetitive, they all mean something. Music used to be a way of telling a story as The Fray does, or to express your feelings.

The song 'Enough for now' tells about being abandoned by a father. 'You found me' tells a story about being abandoned by someone close, but being helped out after you've reached an all time low.

The songs that The Fray write themselves counteract how many older songs are simply being sampled into rap songs that are more upbeat than the original. The Fray, as far as i know, has yet to remix a song, or make rap music. Their medium tempo and picture painting lyrics prove that not all music is tasteless, and can still impact someone's life.
