Elephant Shell was one of those albums that I just couldn’t get into. The vocals of Dave Monks and Graham Wright carry the group, as I find that the instrumentation is not as skilled. The inactive and slow instruments made for some songs such as "Listen To The Math" and "The Harrowing Adventures Of..." boring.

I would recommend this album to anyone who likes groups like The Killers, or The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, but if you like bands like Hedley or Nickleback, then this CD is not for you.
