With upbeat lyrics, happy sounds and rhythms I can't seem to get out of my mind, The Maine is a band whose songs simply put me in a good mood. I have my iPod stuffed to the brim with indie and alternative music, but I always seem to return to The Maine. I never tire of their catchy music.

The Maine has quite a few songs out, and every one of them has a different sound and beat that all stay firmly planted in my mind. "Everything I Ask For" is one of my favourites. In this particular song, they sing about a girl that makes them feel bad about themselves, but they still love her. They also do a cover of "I Wanna Love You" by Akon. I prefer this type of music, so I would pick this version over the original.

The Main has a different sound from the hip hop groups of today, with lyrics that have meaning behind them, and lyrics I can actually relate to. I do not have a single negative thing to say about this group. They are an awesome band, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a change in musical pace.
