USER REVIEW: K'naan - Troubadour
If you do not enjoy hip-hop at this point, K'naan's newest album Troubadour will change your mind completely. K’naan is a Somalia-born, Toronto-based rapper who cares more about perfecting his lyrics than his album sales. K'naan starts the album off with dance hits like "T.I.A", "ABC's" and "Bang Bang" to get you excited and then cools down with inspirational tracks like "Wavin' Flag" and "Take A Minute". The last track "Does It Really Matter" is a sure-to-be dance hit that pokes fun at the current music industry’s thirst for money, women and great beats. Troubadour includes collaborations with Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Chubb Rock, Damian Marley, Kirk Hammett of Metallica and Mos Def. Troubadour sets K’naan apart from every other artist out there and like he says in America, “I’ve got my own sound, I don’t sound like the rest.” Review by: OVER;dramatics |
