USER INTERVIEW: Hollywood Undead

Nexopia gives users the chance to sit face to face with their favorite musicians to talk about music, life, and whatever else comes to mind. Interview by biggerthanjesus
	biggerthanjesus: Why the name "Hollywood Undead?"
	Johnny 3 Tears: It started off as "Undead" and we had named the first song "Hollywood" and then J-Dog took it down to one of his neighbours and was like "check out this CD..." and his neighbor said "oh cool.. Hollywood Undead" boom! The lightbulb went off ontop of his head and he went back to his place and changed the name into "Hollywood Undead."
	biggerthanjesus: What is the significance of having the masks?
	Charlie Scene: We wanted our music to be different and we also wanted to have a different image. We wanted to be as visually striking as it is striking listening to the music. Basically since our music is different we wanted to be different than every other band, too. Johnny 3 Tears: We wanted to get them to pay attention to the music.
	biggerthanjesus: Do you make your own masks or are they done professionally?
	Johnny 3 Tears: We have a guy that does them for us. He's a friend of ours. Charlie Scene: We design them ourselves then we take them to this mask dude and then he makes them from us. But yeah we all design them and come up with the ideas ourselves.
	biggerthanjesus: You guys are all over the place with music — what kind of influence brought together this mashup of tunes you guys have got?
	Johnny 3 Tears: Just everything we have been listening to since we were kids I guess. Charlie Scene: Yeah we would probably all have different answers for that one.
	biggerthanjesus: Any that all of you would share and could agree are some of your biggest draws?
	Charlie Scene: Nine Inch Nails and Beastie Boys are ones that everyone could agree on. Johnny 3 Tears: A lot of West Coast Aftermath Hip Hop and that gangster rap shit.
	biggerthanjesus: If Hollywood Undead got in a fight with the Lonely Islands, who would win?
	Johnny 3 Tears: I think Hollywood Undead cause there are six of us.
	biggerthanjesus: If you guys could have any artist in the world featured on one of your songs, who would you grab?
	Charlie Scene:Justin Timberlake! That shit would be guaranteed to be all over the radio. Johnny 3 Tears: I'll stick with that one.
