RELIGION IS INTOXICATING

First off, I hate organized religion, I hate the idea of it, religious people generally bug me and I think it is an intoxicating poison to anyone that dare indulge in it. If you don't believe religion is intoxicating, read up on Jim Jones and what he did, read up on the holy wars, the religious wars and the crusades, read up about the Jihad groups in the middle east and the palestinian extremists bombing Isreal.

If you are someone who believes there is a God and Jesus and all the characters in the story, then ok believe in them, I don't mind that. What I do mind is people who think they KNOW there is a God, people who know there is a God and people who think atheits and agnostics are lost are either totally ignorant, arrogant and stupid, or they are simply brainwashed. Christians will tell me I am lost, I need help, I need to find God so I can live eternally.

I will never find God, because no one has, people speak to god everyday, but God doesn't speak back. To me speaking to God is like speaking to a lampost, a door, a bench, a dead leaf, a mailbox.....the list goes on.

Without altering who you are, and altering your emotions, you can't go through life following the 10 commandments, the only way you can is if you hold your temptations inside a bottle until you explode, but that's right, the invisible guy is there to bail you out. And then when the stressed out Christian goes out and kills someone God is there with them, God is there to protect them, until they have to take an open shower and they drop the soap, God takes a break then I guess.

Here's a question, what is the difference between believing in Santa, and believing in God? Honestly, show me the difference, the only one that I know is that people find out Santa isn't real at about 8 years old. Being an adult and believing in God is the same as being a child and believing in Santa.

Now, you can say Chris Cringell was a person from the 1400 hundreds and this whole Santa deal is a legend , but Jesus was a person 2,000 years ago, and that's all God is, a legend, a legacy, a lie.

I.D

Well....I live a bit outside of Vancouver, great city, I love it. I debate a lot, whenever I get the chance, so if you support organized religion, if you live by the bible, if you are a religious right wing tight ass conservative, tell me, and we'l have a debate. I am generally right wing on the political scale, but definatley not an authoritarian religious one. I guess capitalist libertarian would be the best term to define what I am.

I listen to tons of music, it would take too long to list them all, but I listed my top ones above. Metal is my favourite genre. I'm into the whole 60's hippy scene, 70's and 80's rock, and I'm big on grunge. The grunge era was the last great era in mainstreem music, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots...etc, great bands. I play sports a ton, gotta stay in shape.

I'm really into the stock market, I find the whole economic world very interesting, I'm young for it, but hey, I make money by clicking buttons, so that's always good. I'l probably go in that direction after highschool, business/commerce, it's pretty open, I'v been thinking about law, I'm off and on about that though.

I prefer artsy free people as apposed to the sterotypical math and science fanatic, give me a pen and a piece of paper and I will write anything you tell me, but give me some variables, coeffiecents numerators and denomenaters, I may aswell be reading Italian upside down. I'm known for going on long rants, I guess I'm doing that right now, what a coinsidence.
