Why is the mind so complicated? I doesn't matter how much you try to forget or push something out of it but at the end of the day it's the last thing you think about. You could go all day or even days without a single thought about it but as soon as you see a picture or come across a familiar scent or hear a familiar sound it's like an instant flash of the past and all memories tied to it.
