I am 16 years old looking for a job in a little town called morinville. First there is little to no jobs for anyone my age unless you get luckey and hired at one of the few restraunts in town. Oh I forgot to mention there is on family restraunt 2 chinease places, and fast food. What a selection.
Ok so what about a gas station or whatever, well your options are cut short since you need to be 18 to sell cigarettes ok gas jockey, get sereous those are all taken by the boys.
So what about a local pet store or grocery store.....
Well since Wal-Mart is so close...
everyone goes there instead. The pet store employee said they were shutting down cause our town is so close to the wal-mart now... it's dead...
go to st.albert and it's the same way... What about edmonton..
Well even with a trades certificate I know people that can't get jobs and are being laid off. What's worse is it's not just Alberta.
British Colombia is the same way.. Well why don't we go back to local shops. boost our local economy... Duh does it not seem even a little bit obvous to anyone... local teen gets money goes shopping... maybe even take the bus to the city and shop there... who knows but still doesn't anyone see how something so little can affect something so much. kinda makes you sit back and think about what else we''re doing for ourselves other than killing everything we've worked towards .
