Our California Adventure

Just a young girl
Her legs taken away
She can’t run
Play sports
Or just have fun for a day

She wishes it was the same as before
When we could always have fun
Just dancing
And singing
Just enjoying the sun

She cries all the time
She just wants to walk
She’s nice
And so kind
But they don’t give her the chance to talk

She knows it’s not much longer
It’s almost done
But she still doesn’t like it
She wants to have fun

No, she’s not dying
But still it’s no good
She can’t walk
Nor dance
But sure wishes she could

She means the world to me
And I feel so bad
That I can’t be there
Because I know she would be glad

I love her to pieces
To me she’s number one
She’s my little sister
And I miss her a ton
