A Blush Rush
It was just an ordinary day,
and then he said hey.
Everything was normal
until we decided to turn the corner.
We were talking and talking,
We started mocking and mocking.
We were red as a berry
bright as a cherry.
It wouldnt go away,
Sentence by sentence we tried,
but we both cried.
We covered our face,
for many moments it seemed,
He wouldnt give up the attidude like a mace,
And yet he still beamed.
He teased and teased,
like it was a breeze.
I shouldve teased,
for he was red too,
but I was too kind to fit that mood.
I felt like crying,
but he was dying.
He died from laughter,
I cried through the after
An hour went by,
he still didnt cry.
I tried and tried,
But he still died.
It almost ended,
but I still fended.
We laughed at it all,
After all it was a great fall.
It ended in a verse that went like dew.
