For some reason this caused me to think. Everyday I see moral decay. This society is effectively killing morals and absolute truth. One day if this is not turned around it will not only be unseeable mental murder being committed but it will progress to become public massive chaotic violence and hate. The funny thing is that our society is screaming, "tolarance, freedom, self-esteem, and happiness," as the reasons behind killing morals and truth. "Just do what's right for you.." This is the largest threat to humanity, peace, and wisdom ever. This is the "mind-shattering" and progressive execution of our generation. [/font][/size]

Funny story. In the past I've heard some pretty negative comments about King's University College and because of them I wasn't really interested in going there or even checking King's out. But then I had a realization. These comments came from people who were visiting etc. the University a number of years ago and the attitude/atmosphere of a place is determined by the people who are there at the time. So I decided to give King's a chance. And you know what? Now I've decided to go there. Ain't that funny? lol I'm wearing the t-shirt I got there right now.

Actually I found the whole atmosphere relaxing, open and nice. I don't know why but I was really comforatable there. For example people who know me know that I'm not a big talker and am rather shy but while I was there I was comfortable enough to just go up to people and randomly generate conversations. *gasp*

Another plus was that the profs were really good and they actually take time to talk to their students. Because I'm a trained lab assistant already and may be traveling around western Canada doing v.a.m. tests (basicly dying and analysing the roots of plants and i.d.ing the fungi on them) for part of this summer I really impressed the profs. They were hinting pretty hard that I could help them with their research as a first year student. And when I got home last night there was an e-mail waiting from one of the profs encouraging me to go to King's and asking if he could be of any assistance in helping me make my decision. Wow!

Yep, so I know where I'm going. 8)

A lot of people would probably not agree with this, but it's so true and AMEN TO IT!!


Will we still be the Country of choice and still be Canada if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in Canada because it is the Country of Choice?

Think about it!

All we have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS?


I celebrate Christmas but because it isn't celebrated by everyone we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings.

It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday?

We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that. This says it all!

IMMIGRANTS, NOT Canadians MUST ADAPT. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Canadians. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Canada. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of Canada being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Canadians we have our own culture, our
own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.


We speak ENGLISH/FRENCH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!
"We Stand On Guard For Thee" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.
If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home because God is part of our culture.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other Great Canadian Freedom...

I have found myself putting this song on repeat a lot the last couple of weeks.
Not only is it musically excellent but the words hit close to home.
I guess I'm just frustrated and angry for a number of reasons that would take a very long time to explain.
Let's just say that I can't wait for summer because summer means freedom.
And after summer greater freedom will come when I move five hours from home.
I will be free of the box that people have put me into and I'll be able to finally redefine myself.
You know let my true colors show without getting snubbed.
I've been holding back an avalanche of emotions for far too long and dreading the day I might slip up and let them out.
My theory is that once I'm away from here and with people who haven't been there my whole life, I'll be able to breathe and find myself.
Thus, the frustration of being in a box will subside and the emotions will slowly fade away.

I just hope that plan works.
Meanwhile, I'll just scream inside. [/center][/color][/font]
