zachary and i want to do dirty things to you.
in one year a lot can happen, a lot can change. at the beginning of the year i was with the one that i thought i wanted to spend the rest of my life with. he moved away and changed so dramatically that i couldn't take it anymore and caved in on the relationship. quickly after that i started new relationships but i knew that he was not what i wanted. i had my group of friends which most people at the school despised (amanda, clint, clinton and myla). I had a job, though it didnt pay, i was bitter and let my only my mom know i was pissed off 24/7.
it was a rush. i started making more friends. several of my friends were people i never imagined i would befriend (zachary meekins). all of the people who used to be my worst enemies became the people i was constantly with, they were my best pals. Out of all my earlier friends i only remained tight with amanda and clint. I switched tables, and sat with all my guy friends every day at lunch, (clint, daniel, wade, deven) when colton erminko moved into town after the christmas break i found a new friend to sit with at lunch. instead of wearing only black, i only wore bright colors, and later dyed my hair a dark brown to become more preppy and 'fun'. the entire year went on like that.
the summer i carried on like the plastic girl i wanted to be. i'd tan on my days off of work, i'd make sure my hair was always in place and when i got my car, i got gucci sunglasses to match it. one of my best friend's became my potential lover and i thought things between him and i were going to sky rocket, until i met juan jacobs. he was extremely emo, always wore black and reminded me of the old male version of myself. the moment eyes were layed on him, i knew he knew me. he had the potential to become one of my best friends, and he did. he lived with me for a week and for once i was happy because there was always someone to hold me when i broke down because i knew i didnt want to be plastic anymore, i wanted something real. i still thought i connected with the boy before, not even juan could change my feelings for o'connor. within two weeks i found a perfect balance of who i wanted to be. Although i lost the one i thought i connected with ever so perfectly, i still gained a well established friendship with the one that makes me smile "and never let it get away".
