Sometimes at night I lay in bed,
Just thinking of me and you.
Thinking of how not long ago,
I thought my dreams wouldn’t come true.


All those times I went to bed crying,
All because of some stupid boy.
Thinking it was funny to play with my heart,
Like it was just another toy.


Then you came along, and turned my world,
Completely upside down.
You are my prince and I am your princess,
Completed with a crown.


So here we are just the two of us,
Only you and me.
Staring at the brightest future,
Our eyes could ever see.


So as this poem comes to a close,
I just want to make it clear.
That I’ll always be here to make you smile,
