Getting high meant swinging at the playground?
The worst thing you could get from guys was cooties?
Mom was your hero & Dad was the only boy in your life?
Your worst enemies were your siblings?
Race issues were who ran the fastest?
War was a card game?
The only drug you knew of was cough medicine?
The only thing you smoked was the tires on your bike?
The only thing that REALLY hurt was Skinned knees?
The only things that could get broken were your toys?
Life was simple and carefree?
but what I remember the most was wanting to grow up.
Now that I'm grown,I just want to be a kid again
