My Take On Rap........

Rap, is alright by me. But there are some flaws morally. Firstly some rappers

embarassingly degrade women to the point that its wrong. I am all for a women

joke but they take it to a whole other level. Rappers like Fifty Cent and Loyd Banks are not right in

my opinion. for one they advocate violence, sencondly they advocate violence and they rap bubble

gum hip hop, so in turn they completely contradict themselves. Rappers like Lupe Fiasco and

Kanye West are intelligent and arent trying to exploit hip hop culture. they bring something new

to the table and they incorperate different styles and genres into there music. Hip Hop started as

a rebellion. it was made to unify people who live in the ghetto. Give them something to strive for.

Ever since Run DMC, rap and hip hop music and culture has been taken on by people of all

social class. And its important to respect hip hop culture and not exploit like Fifty Cent and others.
