This December 22nd 2006 my small community, Delisle, experienced an unforgetable loss. The loss of a good friend, RJ, in a tragic car accident.

This is one night I will never forget. I was sitting at home, just got my pjs on, watching "A Christmas Story," my dad was downstairs moving furniture around, and my mom was doing laundry. The phone rang and my mom rushed to answer it. She picked up the phone and I didnt hear her say a word. The phone dropped to the ground and she brusted into tears. I ran into the kitchen to find my mom passing around in shock. Scooping the phone off the ground I put it to my ear. It was my brother. In shortened breath he quickly explained he had just been in a head on accident, with one of my, and many other town residents, good friend RJ. I went into complete shock and didnt know what to say.
