For all the Pennies
Tears run down the faces of the hundreds of family and friends
As a child who was pure and generous life comes to an end
He was a son that would make any parent proud
A brother that only wanted to be in his crowd
A cousin that fulfilled the lives, and brought a smile to our day
A nephew that did anything that they say
A grandchild that made the world a better place
A friend that brought a million laughs to there face
He was a boy who made lives worth living
He was funny, happy, enthusiastic and giving
His life was a test that took 14 years to pass
And he is looking down on us from a much greener grass
Life is a journey that is constantly turning
Every single day we are consistently learning
His memory we will treasure for the rest of our lives
Taking every bit of his life to make us wise
His grave will be visited by all his loves
Were he will watch us from above
A place were his heart will live on
And never a day we forgot he isn’t gone
His spirit is with us, through the good and the bad
And all the times were we feel so sad
The tears that once ran down our face
Slowly begin to erase
His life we will always embrace
And live each day with unconditional grace
Nothing will fill the void in our hearts
But holding onto his memory is a start
Loves will always exist from family and friends
Forever and ever, and will never end
We don’t say goodbye because you’re still in our lives
But see you later when it’s our time to rise
In loving memory of Shaquile Hamdon
A Son, a Brother, Cousin, Nephew, Grandchild and Friend
