those memories seem like a million miles away now, it feels like I was a different person back then. Not in a good or bad way.
Just different.
Crazy when you think of just how much can change in such a small amount of time. As everyday rolls on we dont notice the impact that the situations we've been through have on our lives until we sit back & really absorb it. Think about what happened & when it started to turn. Sometimes it feels as if were all standing on the edge of a figurative cliff, we can either enjoy the beautiful scenery & have the time of our lives or we can fall to oblivion, their is no middle ground.
Its a bittersweet thing I guess, leaving your past behind.
Life is most commonly lived backwards, we relive memories in our
heads from the past more often than thinking of the future. Its just
such a strange concept to me that something you used to know inside
out can seem completely foreign in what seems like a split second.
How is it that we can so easily forgive a stranger we hardly know for
hurting us in some way but yet cant seem to forget betrayl from a
loved one as quickly?
Somtimes people can change in the blink of an eye
& sometimes people can surprise you..
there are so many trinkets of the past scattered throughout our heads
that sometimes it seems impossible to gather them all up..
yet the memory space in our brains just keeps growing
& it makes me wonder, at which point will it get full?
