Girls are like apples on trees.
The best ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don`t want to reach for the good ones;
because they`re afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren`t as good, but easy.
So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them,
when in reality, they`re amazing.
They just have to wait for the right boy to come along;

I remember when getting high meant swinging at the playground.
The worst thing you could get from boys was cooties.
Mom was your hero & Dad was the only boy in your life.
Your worst enemies were your siblings.
Race issues were who ran the fastest.
War was a card game. The only drug you knew of was cough medicine.
The only thing you smoked were the tires on your bike.
The only thing that hurt was skinned knees.
The only things that could get broken were your toys.
Life was simple and carefree, but what I remember the most was wanting to grow up,
and now all I want is to be a kid again.
