---------Ghost I - One
Foreword:
This is an piece was inspired by the works of Trent Reznor on the "Ghosts" Album, which is a fully instrumental album. It's meant to be set to this song, and as such I hope that you listen to it while reading. Also reading slower than normal, to take in the wording is also recommended. This is also my first night of writing in a long time. Thank you and enjoy-

You're Hesitant.
Just jump feet first.
Just move. Just run.
Just run.
Run.
Run Far.
Run Forever.
Don't stop, Just Run.
You begin to let your legs take motion as you feel the blades covered in a shiny green dew-laden paint cool the soles of your feet. You run because thats the only thing in your head that seems clear now. Run. You run because you need to release. Run. You run because you need to feel freedom. Run. You run because you're tired of being held back. Run...

You run because you are alone, and nothing else makes sense.

The blue skies surround you and keep you contained within their white padded walls. You don't view it as being controlled and held back... You view it as comfort. Comfort... What a strange word. How can one feel comforted in times like these, but you do. You take comfort in things being unsettled. You take comfort that you have yourself to help you through it. Is being comforted what you need in these times? But the truth of the matter is that you don't know what you need, you're to caught up in the moment to realize the enviroment around you and take it for what it is. You reach out but the only one to recieve your hand is the sky, and in that moment you realize, the skies comfort isn't enough to hold onto you.

So you run, you run and run until the soles of your feet are sore and hardened. That's what you wanted right? You wanted your exterior to match how you felt inside.

You've been running for a long time.

Regarding your piece however, I am definitely SHOCKED. But don't worry, it's a good kind of shocked. That is the first time I have ever seen someone put music to their poetry that has been successful. I generally find that reading poetry aloud sets more of a mood and an emotion than music does, but you proved me wrong. I read it first with the music, then without the music and I interpreted the poem two completely different ways. Neither of which probably have anything to do with your original vision, I'm sure. But interpretation is a big part of poetry. The fact that I gathered two different, completely detailed stories from it is remarkable.
