Happy Holidays everyone! My gift to you is two new videos!

You wouldn't believe what I went through to get these recorded. There were setbacks, including, but not limited to: inexplicable software malfunctions, extremely limited daylight hours, human error, and Spontaneous Harddrive Combustion. It was CRAZY!

But they're done now and ready for you to see. Hooray!

The first one, Home for Christmas, is quite sad. It's dedicated to all the queer people who aren't welcome home for Christmas since coming out to their parents. I'm sending them warmest wishes and sympathy.

To cheer you up afterward, the second one is a super silly song about a noisy pussy. Er, cat. The cat wasn't harmed in the making of this video.

Enjoy! And let me know what you think. Comments and questions are always welcome. info@mustbetuesday.com

Happy Holidays!

You guys! I'm so excited! The judges should be making their decision about the Evil League of Evil applications at this very moment, and my entry, The Cutinator, is right on the cusp of 1300 views! Thank you so much for spreading the word and making it as popular as it is!

I have a brand new video too. This one is all about Neil Patrick Harris (from Dr Horrible, How I Met Your Mother, Doogie Howser MD, Harold and Kumar...) and awesomeness in general. If you're not familiar with his work, well, you should be. No, wait. What I meant to say is, you might not get all the jokes. But that's ok. Just picture someone awesome and you'll do fine.

The Awesome Song AKA What Would Neil Patrick Harris Do?

Please tell your friends about it, vote for it, and tell me what you think by writing to info@mustbetuesday.com. I hope you like it!

New people can always sign up for the mailing list at http://mustbetuesday.com, and there are CDs for sale there too.

Thanks so much for all your support!

I'm entering the Evil League of Evil contest!

It's from the creators of Dr Horrible (a hilarious made-for-internet musical about a supervillain played by Neil Patrick Harris) and the winners will have their videos included on the DVD set of Dr Horrible.

Please check out the video of my entry, rate it on YouTube, and spread the word! The more high ratings I get, the better!

The Cutinator:

Also, tell your friends they can still sign up for the Must Be Tuesday mailing list at http://mustbetuesday.com.

Thanks for the support!

Don't worry, I'm still alive! I know it's been a while, but hopefully some new music will help you forgive me for the long silence.

Ok, so it's not new, per se. It's a new recording of one of the first Must Be Tuesday songs ever, back when Must Be Tuesday was a three piece band. Psycho Girlfriend was co-written with Bart Romanek, my former band mate and an all around rad guy.

This song is about having a psycho ex-girlfriend, and pokes fun at lots of lesbian stereotypes. U-Haul trucks, turkey basters, the urge to merge... Plus I used some common household objects as percussion, because I didn't have access to a drum set. And because it was fun.

You can download an MP3 of Psycho Girlfriend at http://mustbetuesday.com/music.php

AND! There's also a video of it at the Must Be Tuesday YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/mbtmusic

I'm pretty sure I forgot to update you on the previous video I recorded, so if you haven't seen it, check out All Good Causes while you're over there.

There are new pretty pictures on the gallery page! http://mustbetuesday.com/gallery.php

I think that's all for now. Let me know what you think by writing to info@mustbetuesday.com

Thank you for all your support!

My Place Or Yours
Hooray! It's a new song! It's all about video games and how they're awesome, and is likely to be especially fun for Nintendo fans. See if you can name the games!

You can find the MP3 at http://mustbetuesday.com/mediaframe.html

Matching Set of Three
This is a fun little love song about accidentally breaking a dinner plate. It hasn't been recorded yet, at least not in the usual way, but you can watch a video of me playing it on acoustic guitar.

See the video at http://www.youtube.com/mbtmusic

That link goes to Must Be Tuesday's YouTube channel. There are a few live videos on there as well, and I hope to update it fairly regularly with other performancey-type recordings.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2008 is going great so far!

I just wanted to let you know that Supernova, whose Battle of the Bands show I performed in last month, is having a Best of the Rest vote. You may remember there was one before, but that was just for Edmonton. This one is for all of Canada! Anyone from anywhere can vote online for bands who competed recently but didn't win.

Prizes include vouchers for recording studio time and merchandise production, guitar gear, and random stuff like bubble wrap and Kraft dinner. No, really.

I would still love to win that recording studio time! Please go to http://www.supernova.com/shows/1674/vote/ and vote for Must Be Tuesday! (You get to vote for three, so you can have a listen to some of the others and support some of them too! Or, you know, click "First choice" on Must Be Tuesday and click randomly on two more. Either way.

Edmontonians: I've got a concert coming up: Velvet Underground on Fri Feb 8. Check http://mustbetuesday.com/showinfoframe.html over the next while as I get more info.

I hope to record a new song for you before January is over, so keep an ear out for that!

Once again, go to http://www.supernova.com/shows/1674/vote/ to vote. Thank you so much for your support!

I'm writing to wish you all a very happy holiday season, full of fun and good cheer. Whether you're doing the present exchange thing, the meditative prayer thing, the reflection and things-giving thing, or the vegging in front of the tv thing, I hope everyone gets some time to relax and be with friends and/or family, and that all your celebrations are going amazingly!

Here is a new Must Be Tuesday song to help you celebrate! It was played on Gaywire on CJSR yesterday too, sweet! It's called Merry Nondenominational Holiday, and you can find it at http://mustbetuesday.com/mediaframe.html

"Whether we believe it's all fun and games or a chance for piousness and love to blossom, I'm sure we're all agreed the day off from work or double normal wage is truly awesome."

Happy New Year everyone!

PS The Battle of the Bands show was fun. I ended up doing a 25 minute set. It was a crazy day involving a cold and a broken guitar, but the set went fine and I very much appreciate all the support I received. Congratulations to Land to Nowhere and the other winners!

This message includes a reminder about the upcoming Battle of the Bands concert, and reasons why it's important to buy your tickets early.
http://mustbetuesday.com/showinfoframe.html

If you are planning to go to the show on Dec 8, keep in mind: If you wait until the last minute to buy your tickets, Must Be Tuesday will not receive any benefit from your purchase, other than the pleasure of having you in the audience. (Which is obviously awesome on its own.)

However, if you buy your tickets by Dec 6, and buy them directly from Nancy or http://mustbetuesday.com, your purchase counts toward getting Must Be Tuesday a longer set at a better time! That means more people will be there to hear more songs, which means a greater potential for a great crowd response, which means more chance of winning! Yay!

Help Must Be Tuesday win recording studio time! Buy your tickets early and tell your friends!
