you could always count on mom to fix everything. your worst enemies were your
siblings & teachers. race issues were who ran the fastest. was was just a card
game. wearing skirts meant you were a princess. the only drugs you knew were
cough medicine. the only thing that hurt was skinned knees and papercuts. the
only things that can get broken were your toys. life was so simple & care-free.
and all we wanted to do, was grow up. now all we want is to go back to those days
