The problem here, is that I don't believe in fate. As much as I'd really like to... Fate is just one of those things that we tell our children about, and that they question and ponder, like everything is predetermined to fall into place. There's a words for much phenonemons that meddle with the future, it's called Science Fiction.
Science fiction ; "a genre of fiction. It differs from fantasy in that, within the context of the story, its imaginary elements are largely possible within scientifically-established or scientifically-postulated laws of nature (though some elements in a story might still be pure imaginative speculation). Exploring the consequences of such differences is the traditional purpose of science fiction, making it a "literature of ideas".[1] Science fiction is largely based on writing entertainingly and rationally about alternate possibilities[2] in settings that are contrary to known reality."
