actually thats not true. They are doing studies and they think they know whats causing this to happen. It has nothing to with technology. Its a cycle that happens every X amount of years. They say 26 million years. Also don't start screaming 2012 or anything stupid like that XD

This is real scientific fact and they are already spending allot of money a equipment right now to see if their theroy is real. If its real then they need to determine if its as much of a threat as they claim. If so how to deal with the problem.

This also isn't global warming because quite obviously that does NOT cause earth quakes in the pacific ocean. And yes allot has happen since the late 40's when technology progession speed up 4-6 times as fast.

Point is many scientist in the world believe they discovered what causes it and the trend. I do think the theory is crazy yes. However its also VERY easibly true and arguably all the evidence is true. Though theres always room for error! Though Physics and science are very advanced and preciesetheses days so we'll see.

As for myself I'm neutral on the subject. If its true or not, either way we can't change a solid fact. All we can do is see if it is or not and deal with the challenges it presents. Not that they will be fun if true; but hey shit fucks up and the world goes on!!!!! =P
