Well technically it's a village....kind of. I'm my sweet little selo (yuga terminology for modern day village)
Naturally like all selo's its got an awesome name...Curilac
Ahhh ridiculously hot summer days (yesterday it was 43 degrees) are spent inside next to the air conditioning vent

When it cools down we village kids take a taxi or bus to the nearest town to party it up until the early hours of the morning.
My cousins and second cousins are all so crazy cool and funny in their own ways.
They've got chill friends and they make everything fun even the most boring day is spent joking around
Talking about the good old days and sipping freshly squeezed lemonade.
I must admit that seeing everything after a few years and how it's changed is refreshing.
There's at least 30 new local hang outs and if we ever get bored of those there's at least someone we know
With a nice boss that lets us all hang out in the work place.
Planning on going to the beach soon and something wild is bound to happen knowing the people here it wouldn't surprise me at all.
Speaking of crazy random events i'd like to list some that have happened so far:
-I've almost been run over twice on a CLOSED street.
-A bar fight has occured right before a band, already half an hour late, is about to start playing.
-Waiters/waitresses have given me and my yuga peeps atittude for asking for some regular water.
-The power has gone off and on three times and counting right in the middle of a good CSI episode.
-Someone has had their camera, sunglasses, and cigerettes stolen by gypsies.
-I have yet to find someone with money on their cell phone account so that we can talk properly over the phone.

You know you're in Yuga when:
-You eat hamburgers at 4:15 am
-You go outside for an hour and come back inside a shade darker
-Your daily entertainmet includes 8 channels on the TV
-Fly swatting is considered a sport of speed and skill
-Playing cards in the middle of the day in a cafe while manipulating the waiter to give you free drinks is nothing out of the ordinary
-The local pharmacy, deli, bakery, and pub are on the same block





I miss you all terribly, except when im having a kick ass time that is

Alrighty then
I am currently in Montenegro my home away from home and it is HOT
Crazy hot. No joke......
So far the following has been acheived; Clubbing until the early hours of the morning...Check
Eating the most delicious and fattening food after clubbing until the early hours of the morning...Check
Meeting cousins i barely knew existed...Check
Getting phone calls from every relative that i've ever seen...Check
Realizing how obvious it is that i'm from Canada...Deffinate check


And it gets better folks,
I feel it is my responsibility..........no, my duty as a person living it up in europe this summer
to inform those who haven't had this amazing chance to see this side of the world
of the basic principals while visiting here (some of these i've become aware of this week..)
Mainly, if you plan to go clubbing stay hydrated people, NOT with alcohol.
Try to be as polite as possible learn the proper way of introducing your self according to who is around you.
Also there is an etiquitte to reckless driving in these parts, they include no turn signals, they're baisically useless
Swearing is a must, as loud and as cruelly as possible
and of course the manditory park where ever you god damned well please
Then there is the double personality factor around here, who you are in front of adults is the polar opposite of who you are around your crazy ass friends, try to keep it that way blowing your cover will not be pleasent

Here in Beograd for the first few days. Cafe hopping is the norm and
being somewhat jet lagged makes it harder to take it all in. To my
friends i miss you but then again i'll try to enjoy myself without you all

1. All the respect that i had for you is now gone because you are so fucked up in the head
that i don't understand how i could have been so oblivious to it for so long.
Your little mind games disgust me and so do you. You're pathetic.

2. At first we hated each other for obvious reasons but i guess we're more alike that we think. Now you're the first person
i call with the latest drama in my life and
you're a pain in the ass because you're like my little sister, and i feel responsible for you. I know that I'm most likely in your top 5
of people you would trust with your life because I'd trust you with mine. Our friendship has always been very love-hate but
even when I make you feel dumb or you kick my ass
at your house its mostly love.

3. You're a great person but honestly open up your eyes and take the chance that's right in front
of you, if you don't it'll go away and you'll regret it.

4. I think that you have your days where I can't stand you and other days where I think that i can tolerate you but
when it comes down to it you're really sad and you need to realize you're hurting the people around you with your actions.
Smarten up.

5. We've recently gotten closer and i can already tell we're gonna be good friends, maybe not for a long
time but for a while you're a sweet person and one of the cutest people i know.

6. I love you a lot but if you keep messing up and doing what you're doing i might have to slap you around a little bit. I think you're
in denial right now and i can cut you some slack with that but honestly get over yourself. You've changed a lot and i miss the person you used
to be because we had so many good times and i miss them.

7. From pretty much day one we've been buddies but lately we've got really close and i can definetly count on you to
be one of the few people that know what its like
for me because we've known each other for so long. You've never once doubted my ability to do something and you're a
major booster for my ego but then again you can be a meanie you silly child. I have mad love for you buddy!

8. You're the most real, un-fake person i know. I can count on you to give me healthy dose of reality when i need it.
You're a sweetheart and you never try to impress people you're just plain out nice which is comforting because trust me you're a breath of fresh air compared to some
of the people i have to deal with on a daily basis. Keep it real

9. I think i was really naive when we used to hang out because i glorified you so much and i made you out to be
someone great when in reality you were just a sad little kid that has nothing better to do but talk about people behind their backs.
Oh well i got out while i could so good for me and your loss.

10. I'll be straight up with you. I thought you were the best person that had ever randomly come into my life, but you hurt me in more ways
than one. I can pretend to be ok around you but time doesn't heal everything. I've grown up a lot since that period of
time and i can see that you weren't worth it.

11. You are so back stabbing it's not even funny. I suppose i tolerated it for a while and even ignored it and
I'm ashamed to say that i was once a part of it. But I know I'm better off because it doesn't make sense to me how
we can be so close but bitch about each other at the same time, it's twisted and I'm glad I'm not around you anymore.

12. It's ridiculous how we're so alike and we've only known each other for barely 3 months. I can't wait to have more
great memories and outrageously long talks with you. You're a wise
soul and I respect you for being smarter than most kids our age.

13. You're my favorite person in this whole entire world. Even if I don't get to see you as often as I'd like
I still feel like you're one of my best friends and more than that you're practically my sibling, well technically you are...
I can't wait to see you again and i miss you so much sometimes that i don't know what I'm going to do without you.

14. Alrighty, you are basically my shrink which is ironic because i sometimes wonder if you're a complete psychopath.
Even though you're incredibly stubborn and hard headed i can't help but love it (unless you annoy the shit out of me with it

You've been through a lot and I truly want the best for you because you deserve it after all you've had to put up with. You're great
for talking to and you don't mind me sharing my silly little teenage stuff with you. You've always got great advice and
