Family is about the love and care for one another. Caring for each and every person that matters, but how is someone able to love and care, without fully committing?

I've always wanted an older brother since I could remember. I have kept it out
of my mind, because I thought it was impossible. Until Saturday, December 4, 2010.

I got a very odd message saying only "My name is Jeff and I am your brother."
Of course I was stunned. How could I have a brother..

I guess the point of this story is how could a family be a family without being whole?

My father has a son that none of us ever knew about.. A living human being..
His own flesh and blood.. I was at a loss of words.

We've lived our whole life as a family with a relationship that was based on a lie.

So the question again...
How can a family be a family without being whole?

It's been the best 5 months of my entire life, and Allan Murdoch is the most amazing boyfriend any girl could ever possibly imagine of having. He is the sweetest, most generous, and kind person I know. He is incredibly caring, and I just can't believe I got so lucky to be able to call him mine. <3.
