people feel butterflies in their stomach at the beginning of love, it is just when things are new and you're first falling in love. you won't feel the butterflies forever though, when the butterflies go away and you are still comfortable around that one person and you still want to be together. it may be a sign that the relationship is trying to mature to another level. the love you feel with sombody after you've been with them for awhile is more of a sense of warmth and comfort. you can still get butterflies though, especially when your excited to see them.
