t�s true, friends walk away and who�s to say that they�ll never come back? But most of them don�t. People change and you yourself change. People will change for the good, and some for the bad. It�s nothing you yourself can control. Let people be who they want, who they are. When you finally discover who they really are, it�s hard to say you�ll see them in the same way you did before. Or that you�ll even like who they are behind all that stuff they put on to make people like them. People will walk in and out of your life faster than you can keep track of them. But the ones that count are the ones that love you for who you are, and who leave a mark on your heart and on your life. These are few and far between them. When you find them don�t take them for granted. Appreciate them. Too many times do we just pretend things don�t matter. We pretend things don�t hurt us, that we�re so strong. Truth of it all is that the people you let become close to you, and that you end up trusting are the ones who can hurt you most. They are capable of more damage than you would think. And yet every time, no matter how many times, we always manage to pick ourselves up and keep going. If they were going to walk out eventually and act like they don�t care, then why should you care? Why should something that they can throw away so easily matter so much to you? Just remember when someone hurts you, or walks away and turns their back on you, it�s not worth it. It�s not worth letting it get you that upset. Keep your head high. Walk tall, be proud of who you are. And most of all remember those in your life who do care, and who would never, ever walk away.
