Remember when ;
getting high use to mean swinging at the playground -
And the worst thing you could get from boys were cooties ?
Mom was your hero, & dad was the ONLY man in your life.
Your worst eniemies were your siblings.
Race issues, were who ran the fastest.
Remember when, war was merly a card game,
& the only drug out there was ; cough medicine .
When wearing skirts , didn't make you a slut .
The only thing you smoked , was the tires on your bike .
The only pain was a skinned knee , & and the only thing that could break , was a toy .

Life was simple - carefree - but what I remember MOST about growing up, was wanting to be older .
And now ?
I just wanna be a kid again .
