Now you can believe the title if you want, I don't care if you think music needs saving or not; but personally I think popular music does. With few of our current saviours making a scratch in album sales, and comercial music getting more and more diluted, what hope is there for creative musicians to branch out? The answer is Daniel Victor. This is the mastermind behind a new project called Never Ending White Lights (new although it has been in production for over a year and a half). He has in the past been a producer on a number of albums, and has written several songs for Switchfoot. It combines his music, which is extremely well written, with many melodic overtones and continuing themes throughout the album. Not only that but the whole idea of the project comes from collabaration, most of the music has other people singing on it. Who are these other people you may ask, why are they on his album?
