What is Bazaar Noize Productions (BNP) you ask?[/b] It is essentially a promotional label, in which its mission is to share the interest of local BC talent with the rest of the world. The emphasis is on (but not strictly) organizing ALL AGES shows within the Metro Vancouver area. It is a community driven establishment that aims to strengthen the music scene within and around the West Coast of Canada.
So this is how it works: If you're a musical artist of any type, whether it be if you're in a band or simply an individual artist, talk to us! Bazaar Noize Productions can work with you to find a placement within a local show or gig! Each show put on by BNP usually consists of a band line-up where the headlining band is relatively "well known" in the area, thus creating exposure for the newer bands on the bill.
At the moment BNP puts on shows roughly once a month. Sometimes we can "hook you up" with shows that haven't been put together by BNP as well, because we're all about networking! At the moment we don't have one specific venue we work with. That may change later on though.
Usually we put on shows at random halls/venues. However; Tristen the founder of BNP, is currently part of the Seylynn Hall Committee. Seylynn puts on shows roughly once every other week. The venue in question resides about a 30 minute commute from downtown Vancouver (in North Van). So if you wish to put on a show at Seylynn, contact Tristen Abraham for further information.
Now in order to assure top quality shows, we must "audition" artists before we can incorporate them into a show. We'd rather do this in person, but if you have any recordings be sure to inform us!
BNP would like to mention that we will have photographers at our show and at times someone will be documenting the concert through video footage.
There is also a different angle Bazaar Noize is currently testing out in regards to getting the word out there (it's still in its "beta stage"). It works like this: BNP will accept an agreement with the given band that is interested. Once this agreement is settled upon Bazaar Noize will venture on towards promoting for that band through various mediums. The band must in some way effectively mention or advertise for BNP (i.e. a little blurb on their myspace showing that we support the band). This is a simple yet productive way for both parties to get their names out there!
If you are interested, message us on here or e-mail Bazaar Noize Productions atBazaarNoize@Gmail.com. If you wish to contact VIA phone, call:778-371-8378. And of course there is also Myspace in which you can contact us: http://www.myspace.com/bazaarnoizeproductions
REMEMBER: We are not reaching out to one specific genre or type of music. I am interested in promoting / managing ALL TYPES OF MUSIC!
R&B, Hip Hop, Freestylers, Ska, Death Metal, Grindcore, Crust, Folk, Jazz, Techno, Indie etc.
Quote from MirrorKisser:
Jimi : "I used to go to Sunday School but the only thing I believe in now is music."
Music is like religion, where we worship at the Church of Reverb, where Sid Vicious died for our sins, where Pete Townsend is like our prophet and Leonard Cohen reads us Scripture.
Maybe.
Hello. If you are the future Hugh Pickett. Thanks for that.
