    Check out our Facebook Group

And also Our Myspace (is better than yours)

We're an all ages cafe/hangout/music venue in west edmonton (15120A Stony Plain Road)

    On bus routes 1, 111, 120 & 150, and close walking distance from routes 2, 3, and 7.

If you're sick of the mall or trying to find somewhere neat to bring your friends, come enjoy the coffee, tea and couches and computers at our student run, all ages friendly cooperative & cyber cafe.

If you've ever read Adbusters magazine, you probably already know about the anti-corporate, open source Blackspot brand... if not, we're the first blackspot culture shop in north america, and enjoy being a tourist stop thanks to the article in Adbusters (internationally distributed) magazine a few months ago about us.

    Mission:

To provide an intellectually stimulating meeting place that breaks down traditional social barriers and conventions wherever possible; to bring to light emerging, cutting edge and otherwise yet to be discovered talent, art and other issues on a regular basis; and to motivate individual artistic and spiritual growth, promoting respectful, open-minded interpretations of hope and positive change in a refreshingly comfortable and safe environment.

    Vision:
    1. To create a template with which to freely release to other "Antipreneurs" wishing to open a similar social center in their own city.
    2. Ethically bridge the gap between the not-for-profit sector (primarily grant reliant) and traditional (self sustaining & profit seeking) business models, through the Cooperative business model.
    3. Provide a touch of non-pretentious "big city class" to those suffocating from an over abundance of typical, predictable, consumer culture.

    Core Values:

    1. Collaboration amongst creators.
    2. Continually evolving space.
    3. Sincerity and honesty, at any cost.
    4. Socially/environmentally responsible operations, suppliers and partners.
    5. Educational and conflict/debate inspiring programming.
    6. Not taking ourselves TOO seriously.
