Well, brtnbrdrchck is not the only one leaving. Today is my last day with Nexopia. I thought I'd do up a little friends-only blog post to let you guys know.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Every week, we had interesting problems to solve. User search daemons that needed fast substring searches. PPQs that groaned under the weight of a million tasks a day. Garbage collectors that, mysteriously, didn't. And I managed to mostly enjoy my interactions with users. Some of whom (CJBarone, Stonesgurl, kees, djfly, etc.) were actually pretty cool.

Unfortunately, it all ends. I'm not deleting my account, but depending on what I do next, I'll likely be much less active. I will try to upload my wedding photos, though. After my Rocky Mountain backpacking trip.
