Blue eyes and that baby face,
That's just something I can't replace.
Goo-goo Ga-ga's and bubbly sounds,
Fingies and toesies all newly found.
Burpies and spitups all here and there,
Slowly growing that soft baby hair.
Looking at the bright and baueaitufl things,
Closing eyes slowly as your mommy sings.
Mommy tried to breastfeed but it didn't quite work out,
But mommy loves your laugh your smile and your little pout.
I don't want to see the day,
When you get along with boys.
I will never ever forget,
When you cried over broken toys.
Broken toys can be bought again,
Either yours your dads or mine.
But a broken heart needs TLC,
And lots and lots of time.
So don't grow up too fast I beg of you,
Because the grown up life is tough.
You don't have to worry about a car and a job,
Or decisions oh so rough.
Take time to breathe the air,
Watch the flowers grow.
Because one day you're gonna miss being so small,
Each finger and each toe.
You'll wish you never fell in love,
I promise you you will.
You will yell and scream at the door or the phone,
And then the tears will spill.
Enjoy life now while you can't walk or talk,
Have fun with the easy life.
One day you could have all that you want,
And you might have life easy...just might.
