LIFE CONTRADICTION:
You have to fight for the things you want.
---------------------------------------------------
Stop trying so hard.. you're driving them away.

What is human nature.. or is there such a thing? We may be animals, but we are evolved animals. We adapt, learn, and feel. So, is there human nature or human behavior? When exposed to different specific situations we all react differently. Our desires, goals, and morals are all shaped by the lives we live. No two people are the same, which leads me to believe that there is no human nature.
But even as human beings, we all possess basic needs. Abraham Maslow clearly, and simply, represented these in his 1943 paper
A Theory of Human Motivation. Maslow depicted human needs in the form of a pyramid:
So if there is no human nature, what then alters human behavior? The primary instinct of survival. If a man is starving he may be not be able to think of anything but his stomach. Therefore he will steal food if he has to. But what happens when our basic need cannot be acquired by any means?
Not all needs are as simple to meet as hunger. Some things we do not have the power to change. Some things we must simply accept.. or wait for. It is as if you are fighting am endless battle alone and blindfolded. You may be strong enough to stay alive, yet you still cannot win.
And sometimes it seems as though the longer and harder you fight.. the further you falter from achievement. The more frustrated and detached you become.. grow into something you do not wish to be. Turn short, frustrated, and angry.. and there's nothing to do about it.
Sometimes there is no victory. Sometimes you simply fight until death.. or surrender. But the worst part of it all is that no one understands the struggle you undergo.
