Sometimes the world tries to block it out

My name is Eric, and first and foremost I am a musician, and no I don't play guitar nor play anything main stream or anything of the sort. More specifically I am a flautist, and I dedicate most of the day every day to practicing my flute. It's my crutch, my vice, my everything. I go to the university of lethbridge and study music here taking private lessons with an amazing flutist and great teacher and everyday I'm getting better. I love classical music and love the way I can shape the music to bend to every emotion I want to express. Music is an incredibal thing that so many take for granted.

I am also a very dedicated athlete when it comes to track and field, more on the track then in the field. I am a sprinter, and I push myself to the limits striving to be better, faster, and to give myself a sense of accomplishment. I don't believe that others should set bar for you, that you should set it yourself and strive to best it.

I try to be an optimistic person and see the better in things, but being human its not always possible, and I do have moments where I feel like I have fallen and can't get back up. Which brings me back to my friends and family, without them, I wouldn't get back up, they keep me going. So whether or not you actually read all of this, and if you did you really cared about what I've said, this is a general summery of who I am, if you don't like it, I don't really care.
