Remember when getting high meant swinging at the playground.
The worst thing you could get from boys were cooties.
Your worst enemies were your siblings
Mom was the prettiest girl you knew
Dad was the coolest guy ever
Race issues were who ran the fastest.
War was a card game
The only drugs you knew were cough medicine.
Wearing skirts meant you were a princess, not a slut.
The only thing that hurt was skinned knees and paper cuts.
And the only things that can get broken were your toys.
Life was simple & carefree but
All we wanted to do was grow up
I want someone who would sing to me at random moments
Someone who is more goofy than romantic
A boy who would throw stuffed animals at me when I'm acting dumb.
Someone who would bet me kisses..
That he could beat me at all the all the old playstation games and then let me win .
A guy who would make fun of me just to hear my laugh
He'd play with my hair all the time and surprise me with 25 cent rings.
Someone who I could share lollipops with and lay on a blanket with tocount the stars
We'd buy tons of disposable cameras to take the silliest pictures of eachother
And squirt waterguns at each other in the house
But mostly someone who would be my bestfriend
And would never ever break my heart, not even once
He would just always make me smile

Care Bears = LOVE
People always tell me that I'm preppy or that I could be popular.
I find hat to be an insult. I would rather be invisible then have all
that attention. Why would I want to have to keep a constant check
on my image? It's insane! I want friends that will accept me for me
even at my worst. Not to kick me out when I'm "cramping their syle."
I enjoy being weird and acting like a dork and I have no future plan
of change that. I don't want to be judged on what I wear or how I act
or who I date. I'm just me no labels required. I don't understand why
people are so fixated on giving each other lables personally, I find
it childish. That is why I prefer to blend into the shadows and be
friends with the "weird" kids. I'd take invisibility over popularity any day.
Plus most popular kids have as much personality as a brick. I prefer to
hang out with people that make me laugh and are quircky. Not with
people who are supposed to "better my image" or clones that do my
biding. I don't want that. What I'm trying to say is, it's not that I won't fit in
it's that I choose not to. That's what truly sets me apart from "popular kids"
Life is our own personal Highway. Let's cruise until we can't see the stars and the
sun is a figment of our imagination. Let's watch the road get older and older as we go further
through life. Let's drive over those pot holes no matter how deep or big. Let's conquer the
elements and snooze in the backseat. Let's just live life to it's fullest no matter how loathsome
and gruesome it becomes. Through snow, sleet, rain, hail, and the blistering heat we will go
on and experience all the good the Earth has to hold.
To quote Tom Cochrane, "Life is a High way! I want to ride it all night long!"
We are forever searching for love.
The hunt never seems to end.
Like the rise of the tides is goes on for forever, in a continious cycle.
For now all I have are sweet dreams, to help me wait for my prince or
a loving villian to rescue me from the fate worse then death, lonliness.
Until that day a princess in her throne she sits waiting for the love of her life
to sweep her off her feet and save her from the epidemic called heart ache.
So tedious waiting for love to come
