My Name is Jessy Beley, I Am 18 and a college baseball player, I just recently moved to muscatine Iowa to play Division 1 baseball which has been a goal of mine since i was a young ball player. Family plays a huge part of my life. As do friends and family, I will go that extra mile if someone is in need if they are a true friend, other then that i love to have fun, have a few drinks and just sit back and relax, Playing college ball thought isnt just for me, its for my father who didnt get to live his dreams and its also to show everyone that ever doubted me, saying i was to fat, to slow to play this beautiful game, i am making a diffrence now, and you havent seen the last of me on the baseball field, If i get healthy watch for me in the pro's in a couple of years

I belive in making the family who spends endless hours helping and paying for you proud. i believe in being relaxed on defense until the batter lifts his front foot. i believe it's ok to use defensive shifts to play the odds, and head games. i believe players should applaud opponents after they make that amazing defensive play. i believe players can get better with age. i believe taking winter BP with a cheap bat helps to hit summer homers with an expensive bat. i believe in running out routine grounders and lazy fly balls, no matter how frusterated i am. i believe it is better to be a smart base runner than a fast one. i believe in the nervous anticipation of a play at the plate. i believe in the magical moment of recognition after contact on a "no-doubter" home run. i believe in catchers who talk junk and pitchers who throw it. i believe in infielders who think getting dirty is part of the job description. i believe in fast outfielders who do not hug the lines or play to deep. i believe rattling bats can wake them up, and uncrossing them can avoid bad luck. i believe in wiping the morning dew off a ball, and squinting into the sunset. i believe that once a baseball player, always a baseball player. i believe in saving an equipment catalog until the next issue replaces it. i believe photos, autographed balls, and scorebook pages can be better than trophies and t-shirts. i believe there is no off season, just a longer wait until the next game. i believe in the butterflies of opening day and the long drive home after the final game. i believe in loving your teammates and their dedication to your team. i believe in winning and i believe in losing.I believe the hard work pays off in the extra innings. I believe in working hard day in day out, the process is hard but the out come will last a life time and the rewards will make it happen"
