Love is an unexplainable feeling. We split our lives into degrees of importance and shun those who are not worthy of our feelings. Those who we feel deserve our love are the ones who we adore most in this world; they are the ones who we stride to make happy. Then there are the few that are left in the darkness; the ones who we don’t realize we have hurt and caused their heart such chaos. We base our lives upon the emotions that we feel, and don’t realize who we may be hurting in the process. We do not have the power to choose who we love, and when we find that someone, love becomes an unbreakable chain. It will never be forgotten, but only altered to fit ones needs. It isn’t the physical aspect of love which unites us, but the feelings which hold us together. By contrast, true love is so refined, so numinous, that it can still survive without the closeness of physical touch. We do not have a choice in who we love; it is inevitable, just as the sun and moon arise day after day. Yet such marvels as sunrises and sunsets only fascinate our minds for the simple fact that they are innocent. We have come to accept and comprehend the complexity of these events which has made us experience no excitement. Love on the other hand is indescribable for the simple reason that we do not know the question as of why. We take love for granted and don’t realize how important such feelings are. Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile. It is the most unpredictable phenomenon on our planet to which we can only understand the fact that it is inescapable. We will seek and chase love without success for time and time again always hoping that it will one time just stick forever. Hoping, chasing, and wishing over and over for reasons we don’t understand. Sleepless for nights upon end, waiting for that one person who will complete us. Tears will flow; hearts will break, with us standing in the darkness where we have put so many before. We will come to realize that we have been sorted into such degrees of importance by people just as we once did. It’s the circle of life, we can’t control the outcome, but we can make choices which will guide us through to the end.
