IF YOU'RE BORED ENOUGH

Well what do people want to know exactly?

I've been called the 30 year old hobo by some, Yeti by others, some even call me Thor. A select few may even call me by a name which strikes fear into all that hear it...Goldilocks. I look 10 years older (at least) than I am and if I didn't dress in nice clothes you'd swear I was a hippie or a metal head or something. I have long hair (and when I say long, it's a freaking lion's mane) and I don't plan on cutting it anytime soon, lol. It's kinda blondey-reddy-brown...not sure which, I think more on the blonde side as it tends to have a dark gold sort of shine. I'm also quite tall and built pretty strong. I basically look like a big hairy Scottish barbarrian...which actually amuses me greatly.

My life, it can be summed up pretty easily. Sustaining me and giving me a reason to live is my Moogie, my sweet Eponine, my dearest friend and love Megan. She is my very reason for waking up each morning.
Beyond her would have to be my friends, although recent history has shown that friends can only be relied on to a certain extent, honestly I have no idea if any of us ever have friends we can truly count on, perhaps I'm too cynical though. Art as well is an anchor for me, primarily music. My musical taste is ridiculously broad, varying from the more classical pieces and opera, to heavy metal and gothic rock. There is very little music that I dislike, mostly just emo, pop, rap, and hip-hop, beyond those four I'm pretty open to most music.

I've also expanded largely into singing myself. I took on my first big role as Bill Sykes in the musical Oliver! I was so very evil. My own mother was cowering in the audience. I someday hope to star in Jekyll and Hyde. God I felt so right being on stage, it was amazing.

A considerable force in my life would certainly have to be my faith. I am an atheist, following a set of beliefs that are entirely my own. You could call me an Antichrist, there are a number of us out there, wanting very much to see the fall of Christianity, and religion in general. Some of my views follow Christian ideals, other parts follow Satanism. My god is myself, my savior is my angel; my lady love. I figure if there is a god out there that created everything I owe him no more than I do my parents, if anything I owe the divinity in question less because he/she/it was foolish enough to bring humanity into creation in the first place.

If I had to choose a hero or a role model there are a few. Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) the God-Father of Goth and the leader of Antichrists today, having taken the place of the late Anton LaVey (another fellow I have grown to admire in a way). Michael Crawford for his beautiful singing and kind heart. There is something almost angelic to the man, hard to describe really. Philip Quast or Anthony Warlow however would more be along the lines of the singer I hope to be someday. Anne Rice is my inspiration in writing, even after what I see as a betrayal in the writing of her book about Christ. Her writing is incredible, I love her vampires and witches. I wish that she was still writing about Lestat and the others.

Politically I am more or less moderate. I believe in supply and demand, the invisible hand, I think the basic principals of capitalism are pretty good. Work hard and do well (doesn't always work that way but it's good in theory). I believe also in equal opportunity, public education, healthcare, equal rights regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, or whatever else fits in here. Having said that if I see any members of the KKK running about, any Nazis, skinheads, etc. don't expect nice treatment, if you're a racist you have lost your rights as a human being in my mind. I'm not cruel exactly I just dispise such unfounded discrimination, every race is equal, it's individuals that screw up. I'll never vote Conservative because I think that promotes racism and a whole load of backwards, out of date ideals. Steven Harper is a blatant liar, Bush is a fool, the right wing makes me sick. Moderation is as close to perfection as one can come, any study of politics and history will show that if you are smart enough to see it, extremes very simply don't work. One last thing...SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IS A MUST, BLOODY UNITED STATES GET A CLUE, GEORGE W. BUSH IS NOT GOD!!!!! (who would have ever thought Texas would become the Holy Land?) Now there is even church leaking into the Canadian government, has anyone heard of multi-culturalism, i think its that thing that allows people to practice their own beilefs and even *gasp* celebrate differences. Having a Christian government, or any other religious-base is kinda ridiculous.

I love books as well, J.R.R. Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore, and Anne Rice are my main authors. I have a hard time picking a favorite book really. I can read "The Hobbit" over and over and love it everytime. All of Anne Rice's vampire and witch books have been incredible. Salvatore's characters are so heartfelt and powerful that they'll always hold a place in my heart. Marilyn Manson's book "Long Hard Road Out of Hell" is pretty good as well, certainly near the top of my list.

Hmm what else do I like...oo tv!! I like tv, C.S.I., The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, War at Home, Six Feet Under, That 70's Show, Gargoyles, Beast Wars, Transformers, Friends, Robot Chicken, Will and Grace, man oh man I'm a tvaholic...lol. I like a lot of tv.

I like psychology, it's quite a bit of fun. I'd like to be a psychologist eventually actually. There's something enjoyable about being able to look at someone and say "I bet i know what's wrong with you (insert mocking laughter here)" lol.

I love art, it's a passion of mine. As before mentioned, music, outside of Megan music is my life really. I love to write lyrics, I've been told I'm not too bad and even I have to admit that the occassional one is decent. Apparently my voice is decent too so yay, go me. I love to draw when I can, I rarely do a picture I'm proud of though sadly. I like writing novels and what not, I'm terrible for actually completing them though, lol. I like pretty much all aspects of art really, I can find some bits of most that appeal to me.

I collect weaponry, I lack the funds (and the space for that matter) to get really into it but I do like weapons certainly and hope to expand on my collection. Currently I have a WWII Katana, two Turkish styled scimitars, a Spaniard style short sword, Sting from Lord of the Rings, a set of nunchucks, a sickle from the 1930's, and my lovely hunting knife. The knife is the most useable in the lot, the other stuff is more decorative. Real ones are more expensive, a useable sword usually runs for a minimum of 400 bucks so it'll be awhile before I can get those. And as far as useable katanas go, the good quality ones are well over 1000.

THINGS I DO WANT TO DIE

George W. Bush jr (yes I am aware that "jr." isn't entirely applicable to his name) would have to be near the top of my list.

I don't like republicans in general, I'm not really fond of democrats though either, or the conservatives. Right wing in general is something I hate. Steven Harper is a prick. I don't know how many times I've read something from conservative politicians that is in some way racist, discriminatory, or just plainly stupid. The entire political ideal is designed almost purely to manipulate the weakminded (I guess that explains how Bush got into office...and Klein for that matter). Bravo by the way Canada for elecitng Harper, one less thing to keep us from becoming the United States.

I hate Will Farrell, for Christ's sake he isn't funny. There is nothing clever about his humor it's just dumb. All he does is make crude jokes and do outragous things...it isn't funny, it isn't original...people call him the best comedian today...bloody hell what is wrong with everyone.

I hate EMO!!! Okay little children, you aren't depressed, your world is not falling apart and cutting is not cool. Depression is a serious medical condition that some of us are stuck with, I know myself and others I've talked to would give anything to be rid of it and here you are using it for attention and popularity. You are for the most part between 12 and 18 right (and if you are older than that you're an even bigger loser)? Yeah...you have a long life ahead of you now morons, your teen years scarely matter in the long run, someday when you're old you'll look back and kick yourself for spending your youth dwelling on crap that doesn't matter. And Jesus Christ! Cutting to be cool? How stupid are you kids? Talk to a few adults that were cutters in their teen years, see if they're still proud of it thinking it's cool. And the music side of emo...wow...I mean wow...sad mocking of punk, grunge, and goth...Listen, a twelve year old girl whining in her diary about a boy not liking her would sound just as good. Woo crappy lyrics...now as if the lyrics aren't bad enough lets get men in their 20's or older to sing it, and just for kicks lets castrate them so they almost sound like twelve year old girls. Now that says gothic rock to me eh? Christ Ozzy and Manson should come and rip off your heads like a bat. Okay and one last thing...My Chemical Romance is emo...you freaking morons, I don't even like punk and I find it insulting when you call them that. And for the love of all music that is good, never and I repeat NEVER!!!!! list Marilyn Manson and My Chemical Romance (or any other stupid emo band) in the same band list. The very presence of an emo band is an abomination unto our Antichrist. You should be freaking beaten for even the thought of putting them together!!!!!! Which reminds me...what little piece of twice digested Gerard Way (front man for MCR, I want to rip his voice box out and punch him a little) s*** decided that Marilyn Manson was EMO!?!?!? Let's get things straight, just because the sad little emo bands want to look all dark and stuff and they copy Manson, doesn't mean Manson is emo. Those little idiots couldn't begin to comprehend him. And as for the sad little emos out there that actually listen to Manson just to combat the accusations that they are emo, it isn't working. Go back to your kiddie music, slit your wrists, and leave the real music to the grown-ups. *does baby talk* "Who's a pathetic little emo *pinches emo's cheeks* yes you're a pathetic little emo *more baby talk*." While we're on the subject of emo, SHAME ON YOU TIM BURTON FOR LETTING EMO'S DO COVERS OF NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS SONGS, PANIC AT THE DISCO, SHE WANTS REVENGE, AND FALLOUT BOY ALL SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. I can't believe he actually subjected his precious movie to that torture. Yay for unimaginative, monotone, and boring (in that order though they kinda work for all of them anyway).

I hate people who think they're tough when they aren't. Like seriously when you're five feet tall, have no real muscle mass I'm sorry but you cannot come and pick a fight with me, you will lose. How dumb do you have to be to think that you scare a 6'2" guy that is a freaking tank? I honestly want to just let people like that try, let them throw their punch then I'll try mine see who wins.

I hate whores, girls who throw themselves at men and show off everything they've got. Seriously how desperate and pathetic do you have to be?

I hate people who make up sob stories to get sympthy, worse yet when they're good at it and can trick anyone into believing them. Bravo for using your fellow man as your own personal tools. Can we say pity whore?

I hate men who take advantage of women and use them like objects. Lie, manipulate, and use them for sex, money, whatever it is they happen to want. Seriously, get a life and stop trying to ruin other peoples'.

Just an observation after watching Transformers (2007).

I have to say, first of all that i did like this movie, but it wasn't Transformers.

Was anyone else pissed off that they changed the reason for coming to earth and made the Allspark into a more tangible thing. In the original series, carrying into Beast Wars and Beast Machines, the Allspark was their god essentially. Not an object one could grasp but where all Transformers, good or bad go when their sparks have been extinguished.

I'm glad they gave a more realistic feel to the movie but it bothers me that they went with such a simple plot.

For those that don't know, or didn't understand, the original Transformers was only the first part in a much larger story. Beast Wars and Beast Machines were the next chapters and to follow was supposed to be Trans Tech until the franchise was bought out and the crappy anime versions were aired in North America. This threw out all the plot that the previous incarnations had led up to out the window.
