Well what do people want to know exactly?
I've been called the 30 year old hobo by some, Yeti by others, some even call me Thor. A select few may even call me by a name which strikes fear into all that hear it...Goldilocks. I look 10 years older (at least) than I am and if I didn't dress in nice clothes you'd swear I was a hippie or a metal head or something. I have long hair (and when I say long, it's a freaking lion's mane) and I don't plan on cutting it anytime soon, lol. It's kinda blondey-reddy-brown...not sure which, I think more on the blonde side as it tends to have a dark gold sort of shine. I'm also quite tall and built pretty strong. I basically look like a big hairy Scottish barbarrian...which actually amuses me greatly.
My life, it can be summed up pretty easily. Sustaining me and giving me a reason to live is my Moogie, my sweet Eponine, my dearest friend and love Megan. She is my very reason for waking up each morning.
Beyond her would have to be my friends, although recent history has shown that friends can only be relied on to a certain extent, honestly I have no idea if any of us ever have friends we can truly count on, perhaps I'm too cynical though. Art as well is an anchor for me, primarily music. My musical taste is ridiculously broad, varying from the more classical pieces and opera, to heavy metal and gothic rock. There is very little music that I dislike, mostly just emo, pop, rap, and hip-hop, beyond those four I'm pretty open to most music.
I've also expanded largely into singing myself. I took on my first big role as Bill Sykes in the musical Oliver! I was so very evil. My own mother was cowering in the audience. I someday hope to star in Jekyll and Hyde. God I felt so right being on stage, it was amazing.
A considerable force in my life would certainly have to be my faith. I am an atheist, following a set of beliefs that are entirely my own. You could call me an Antichrist, there are a number of us out there, wanting very much to see the fall of Christianity, and religion in general. Some of my views follow Christian ideals, other parts follow Satanism. My god is myself, my savior is my angel; my lady love. I figure if there is a god out there that created everything I owe him no more than I do my parents, if anything I owe the divinity in question less because he/she/it was foolish enough to bring humanity into creation in the first place.
If I had to choose a hero or a role model there are a few. Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) the God-Father of Goth and the leader of Antichrists today, having taken the place of the late Anton LaVey (another fellow I have grown to admire in a way). Michael Crawford for his beautiful singing and kind heart. There is something almost angelic to the man, hard to describe really. Philip Quast or Anthony Warlow however would more be along the lines of the singer I hope to be someday. Anne Rice is my inspiration in writing, even after what I see as a betrayal in the writing of her book about Christ. Her writing is incredible, I love her vampires and witches. I wish that she was still writing about Lestat and the others.
Politically I am more or less moderate. I believe in supply and demand, the invisible hand, I think the basic principals of capitalism are pretty good. Work hard and do well (doesn't always work that way but it's good in theory). I believe also in equal opportunity, public education, healthcare, equal rights regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, or whatever else fits in here. Having said that if I see any members of the KKK running about, any Nazis, skinheads, etc. don't expect nice treatment, if you're a racist you have lost your rights as a human being in my mind. I'm not cruel exactly I just dispise such unfounded discrimination, every race is equal, it's individuals that screw up. I'll never vote Conservative because I think that promotes racism and a whole load of backwards, out of date ideals. Steven Harper is a blatant liar, Bush is a fool, the right wing makes me sick. Moderation is as close to perfection as one can come, any study of politics and history will show that if you are smart enough to see it, extremes very simply don't work. One last thing...SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IS A MUST, BLOODY UNITED STATES GET A CLUE, GEORGE W. BUSH IS NOT GOD!!!!! (who would have ever thought Texas would become the Holy Land?) Now there is even church leaking into the Canadian government, has anyone heard of multi-culturalism, i think its that thing that allows people to practice their own beilefs and even *gasp* celebrate differences. Having a Christian government, or any other religious-base is kinda ridiculous.
